Nicholas Kraus obtained his Yale PhD in Assyriology in 2018. He received his B.A. in Classics and Near Eastern Studies at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada (2011). Nick then went on to complete an M.A. in Assyriology at the University of Toronto in Canada (2013). For his PhD dissertation, Nick’s research focused on school texts and the scribal curriculum in the Sargonic period (c. 2350-2200 BCE).
