Joshua Jacobs obtained an MA degree Assyriology in 2026. He received a B.A. in Classical Studies at the University of Arkansas. His previous research focused on the role of the cult of the dead kin in Israel and Judah, especially the conceptions of death and the afterlife appearing in the Hebrew Bible. He is interested in the socio-economic history, cult practices, and scholarship of the Neo-Assyrian period.
