Claire Hobbs is an M.A. student in Assyriology. They received their B.A. with honors from the University of New Hampshire in History and Arabic Language. They are primarily interested in ancient Anatolia in the second millennium BCE, with a focus on the formation and communication of identity in the ancient world through textual and material sources. Their other research interests include religion, gender and sexuality, and historiography of the fields of Hittitology and Assyriology.
