On Saturday, 14 November 2009, there was a special celebration of the Centennial of the Yale Babylonian Collection, featuring an afternoon symposium, a showing of the Fall of Babylon sections of the classic silent film, "Intolerance," and an evening concert of music with Mesopotamian themes. In addition, there were two exhibitions at Sterling Memorial Library, "Treasures of the Yale Babylonian Collection" and "From Nineveh to New Haven."
